These photos show this job after the "first cut" of an open slab for a new residence in Yarragon.
The final finish will be Full Exposure - machine ground Polished Concrete.
We like to perform the first cut on a slab before the walls are put up which allows for a much more level surface throughout all rooms.
After the first cut the builders can then proceed with putting the walls up and, depending on the type of skirting used and other variables, we then come back after either lock up stage or when the plaster has been completed and finish polishing the floors.
CCC Acid Etch will also be applied to the external patio areas when they are poured.
