Polished Concrete Floors Melbourne

CCC Polished Concrete FAQs

The type of final surface finish you choose is directly related to how durable your floor will be.

A superb looking and durable finish. The ultimate floor.

Suitable for Full & Random Exposure

A beautiful durable and extremly scratch resistant finish that is low maintenance.

Suitable for homes, offices, factories and high traffic areas.

We can achieve a granite bench top like finish on the floor without using coatings or topical sealers.

A CCC Polished Concrete floor eliminates the need for the floor to be refinished with a sealer every few years.

This has nothing to do with paint coatings or sealers but is more like a polished gem stone finish.

Long lasting, durable, and beautiful to look at, CCC Polished Concrete is a complex polishing process developed over years of experience.

This ultimate floor finish is why CCC is seen as a leader in the field of polishing concrete.

Suitable for Full, Random & Nil Exposure

Smooth ground and finished with an Acrylic / Polyurethane or Epoxy coating

Grind and Seal is machine grinding to the desired exposure followed by a Surface Sealer in either Acrylic, Epoxy or Polyurethane to give the concrete a matt, satin or gloss look. A non-slip option is also available for outdoor concrete surfaces where slippage is a problem, for example ramps, walkways and alfresco areas.

A durable non slip surface that looks and feels beautiful.

CCC ACID ETCH not only has stylish appeal that enhances any outdoor area such as alfrescos, paths and driveways, but is NON SLIP making it perfect for around pools and eradicating the need for coping.

Architects, builders and homeowners alike endorse the unmatched range of styles and colours and also its ability to bring old concrete back to life including obliterating sharp exposed aggregate and renewing rain damaged concrete.

Now a non slip surface that is kind to bare feet and beautiful.

With minimal care the product will stay like new for years to come.

The unique CCC ACID ETCH procedure is a closely guarded secret that our competitors would love to have! It is a complex process to get right.

CCC Polished Concrete receives outstanding results and feedback from this product. This side of CCC Polished Concrete is growing steadily and has provided us with some very exciting finished products.

*** It is important not to confuse CCC Polished Concrete’s CCC Acid Etch with Acid Wash. Acid Wash is just a 10-1 mix, broomed over the floor, rinsed off allowing the sealer to then bond with the concrete.

*** We at CCC Polished Concrete like to pre-inspect the slab our motto being “Call before you pour” – with CCC Acid Etch this will save you valuable time (and money) on site!

A durable good looking surface for factories and large retail spaces*

Very large commercial areas like warehouses, factories and/or large retail spaces can look fantastic with correctly finished exposed concrete floors.

Although several very large and well known Australian retailers routinely opt for a low cost burnished floor finish, the initial savings are eroded with the ongoing maintenance cost of regular polishing (daily for retail) with an expensive to purchase industrial floor cleaning machine. Burnished floors are generally also unattractive in appearance

To address the need for a low cost industrial floor finish that looks good and that is easier to maintain than a burnished floor CCC Polished Concrete have introduced a polishing system specific to commercial situations.

Our industrial floor process essentially consists of a light machine grind, machine polish and then final finish with a penetrating sealer. The end result is a much better looking, harder wearing and lower maintenance floor than a typical grind and seal or burnished finish.

The level of machining and product used in this process will vary dependant on the type of useage i.e. a retail surface finish will be different than a welding factory or auto repair shop.

*Not suited for domestic situations. Please refer to CCC Polished Concrete or CCC Grind and Seal instead.
